Muhammad Asaduzzaman, PhD is serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is a A grade licenced Pharmacist with a registration from Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh. He has completed his graduation from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka. He has also completed his Masters Degree in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology from the same Institute. Later on, he got fellowship from Commonwealth Scholarship Commission and did his PhD on Clinical Medicine Research from the Department of Breast Cancer, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. Dr. Asaduzzaman is also a member of BACR and an ambassador of EACR. He received "Early Career Researcher Travel Award", Dean' Award, Prime Minister Gold Medal Award and other awards for his research and academic excellence. At home, he has recently been selected as a member of the National Young Academy of Bangladesh (NYAB) for his contribution to Science and Research. He is currently involved in various scientific projects in collaboration with International Research Institute and Organisations. He has active collaboration with Imperial College London and currently setting up collaboration with Washington State University. His research areas include chemotherapy resistance mechanism, cancer stem cells, biomarker development, investigations on risks of carcinogenic and mutagenic substances on human health, etc. He always appreciates and welcome collaborative research work.
